Women’s conference starts tonight
The Edgefield Baptist Church of Fayetteville will host the 2009 Women’s Conference Revival March 18-20 at 7 p.m. nightly. Special guests will be Pastor Wendy Smith, Evangelist Lavoria Resse, and Sis. Providence UMC to host Marketplace
Providence UMC will host an “ancient days” Marketplace March 18, 20 and 21 from 6 to 9 p.m. Kids can make a mosaic, basket, jewelry, rope and perfume. There will be demonstrations of fabric weaving, pottery making, basket weaving and olive pressing. Families will enjoy archery, climbing wall, photos in period costume, a farmer’s market, and bakery tent. USO show planned this Friday
Veritas Classical Training will present a World War II style USO Talent show (a time to remember the era and honor all veterans) Friday, March 20, at 7 p.m at Faith Bible Church, 4907 Ga. Hwy. 34 East, Sharpsburg.

Rust choir performance cancelled
The performance of the Rust College choir, originally scheduled for Saturday March 21, at 7 p.m. at Christ Our Shepherd Lutheran Church in Peachtree City, has been cancelled due to the death of a former Rust College faculty member.

Holy Trinity’s Health Fair is this weekend
On Saturday, March 21, from 8 a.m. until noon, Holy Trinity Catholic Church at 101 Walt Banks Road in Peachtree City will host its annual “Dia de la Familia” Health Fair, with free screenings for diabetes, cholesterol, spine, HIV, and breast exams, as well as many other health issues. Those having bloodwork done should come fasting, which means on a completely empty stomach. Bloodwork results will be given the same day. Paul Massey to speak at CTK
Father Paul Massey, pastor of Church of the Holy Cross, Fayetteville, will preach and celebrate Holy Eucharist in both the 8:30 and 10 a.m. services of Christ the King Church, Sharpsburg, on Sunday, March 22. Massey serves as a member of the Bishop’s Council for the Diocese of the Mid-South, as a member of the Commission on Ordained Ministry, and as The Canon to the Ordinary for the Diocese. He currently authors a column for The Citizen newspaper, “Ask Father Paul.” Christ the King is on Ga. Highway 34 between Peachtree City and Newnan.

CCWW preschool art show set for March 24
The Christ’s Church at Whitewater Preschool and Play Day will have its annual Art Show on Tuesday, March 24, from 6:30-7:30 p.m. Guests can come and browse the students’ artwork similar to an art gallery. There will also be a silent action of themed baskets — travel, gardening, cooking/kitchen, summer fun, webkinz and others. The silent auction benefits the preschool. CDM to host revival

FCCF will meet March 29
The Fellowship of Christian Churches and Friends (FCCF) will hold its regular Fifth Sunday Celebration Sunday, March 29, at 2:30 p.m. at Flint Ridge Baptist Church. All members of the Christian community in the greater Fayette area are invited to attend. The guest preacher will be the Rev. PTCUMC plans Easter Festival
Peachtree City United Methodist Church will host its annual Easter Family Festival at the church, 400 Windgate Rd.,on Sunday, March 29, at 2 p.m.The program this year is called “All Around Easter” and families will travel to four faith stations that will bring Easter to life for the entire family.
