The heart of a PTC golf cart beats fast

I am a golf cart and confined within my own limitations. But inside me beats the heart of a race car. I long to go fast, go far and win a big race. The race is long and filled with the need for endurance, the need for commitment, the need for a steady spirit – like me!

Still, I am confined in the body of a golf cart. I am what my manufacturer has made me. But if he has made my body slow, he’s also made my desire for accomplishment strong. So I don’t have the glitz and shine of a race car, my engine doesn’t rev, my wheels don’t burn rubber.

But I understand now. That’s not what I was made for. I wasn’t made for speed but for constancy, not for short sprints but for the long haul.

I’ll finish the race. I’ll do all my manufacturer made me to do and even surprise those around me by doing what they thought I couldn’t do.

Who knows what surprises the manufacturer may have put in me? He’s always tweaking, always improving me, always giving me a little bit more torque.

Indianapolis? Who knows?
