Mr. and Mrs. Allen Shah of Brooks announce the engagment and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Erin Michelle Shah, to Matthew Lee Nash, son of Mr. and Mrs. Terry Nash of Brooks.

The bride-to-be is a 2004 graduate of Starr’s Mill High School and a 2008 graduate of the University of Georgia, where she earned a bachelor of science degree in psychology and child and family development. She is currently attending Valdosta State University to obtain her master’s degree in clinical counseling and her specialist’s degree in school psychology.

The groom-elect is a 2004 graduate of Starr’s Mill High School and a 2008 graduate of the University of Georgia, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in health and physical education. He is employed by the Valdosta City Schools at W.G. Nunn Elementary School as a physical education teacher. He is also currently attending Valdosta State University to obtain his master’s degree in health and physical education.

The wedding will be Saturday, Oct. 17, 2009 at Fayetteville First United Methodist Church in Fayetteville. Following the honemoon, the couple will reside in Valdosta.
