Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Michael Beal of Newnan announce the engagement of their daughter, Kristen Elizabeth Beal, to Nicholas John Panella, son of Dr. and Mrs. Timothy Panella of Knoxville, Tenn.

The bride-to-be is a 2004 graduate of Landmark Christian School and currently is completing a bachelor’s degree in middle grades education from the University of West Georgia where she will graduate in May, 2009.

The groom-to-be is a 2008 graduate of Samford University with bachelor’s degrees in biology and Spanish. He is currently a medical student at Wake Forest University.

The wedding will be June 19 in Montego Bay, Jamaica. Following a honeymoon in Negril, Jamaica, the couple will reside in Winston-Salem, N.C.
