Mrs. Amarinthia B. Mueller of Fayetteville announces the engagement of her daughter, Lauren Elizabeth, to Robert Tracy Brown, son of Mr. and Mrs. Stephen L. Brown of Lyons, Colo.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of the late Lawrence E. Mueller. She is a graduate of Wake Forest University and is employed by Savannah College of Art and Design as assistant director of graduate recruitment.

The groom-elect is a graduate of Colorado State University and the University of Texas, Austin, and is a professor at Savannah College of Art and Design.

The wedding will be in June in Charleston, S.C. The couple will reside in Atlanta.
