Fayetteville police are investigating the sexual assault of a woman at a home in north Fayetteville.

The incident took place Feb. 13 at a residence on Glenleigh Walk, police said. The victim is 49 years old but police are releasing no further details about the attack at this time, said Fayetteville Police Maj. Kevin Gooding.

“It is an active investigation,” Gooding said.
