Helpers needed for HeroBoxing

HeroBox, a Peachtree City organization that supplies gifts to military personnel overseas, is inviting the public to participate in its monthly box packing.

The event will be held at Peachtree City Christian Church Friday from 9 a.m. to noon. The church is located off south Kedron Drive at Ga. Highway 74.

Volunteers will pack approximately 100 boxes. Participants are asked to visit www.herobox.org online to register so organizers can plan the event.

Those who can’t help Friday can do so in other ways by donating money or needed items soldiers have requested.
