Students with disabilities, who are enrolled in the Fayette County School System’s high schools and are looking for summer jobs, are invited to attend a job fair and conference on March 24.

The “Foundations for Success” job fair and conference will feature representatives from the Georgia Department of Labor, Tools for Life and the Workforce Investment Act. Students will learn about disclosure of their disabilities to employers, how to search for jobs, the dos and don’ts of job interviews and how to write a resume.

Students who plan to attend must return a reservation form to Linda Williams at the LaFayette Educational Center at East Fayette Elementary by March 12. Reservation forms are available from the student’s teacher.

The following friends of the REACH Program are sponsoring the conference and job fair: Alan Vigil Ford, H.J. Wings and Things, Captain D’s and Dunkin Donuts.
