Raymond Wendell Muse, 74, Tyrone, died Feb. 21, 2009. He was born Feb. 16, 1935. He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond Benjamin and Dana Itaska Muse, and his wife, Martha Sandra Yates, whom he married in 1967. He attended Carrollton High School and West Georgia College. He served in the United States Army from 1956 to 1962. He worked for Eastern Air Lines where he worked on the ramp for almost 28 years. During his life, he was a fireman, coach, hunting and fishing buddy, military policeman, carpenter, problem solver and friend.

Services were at the McKoon Funeral Home chapel with interment at Sharon Memorial Gardens, Tyrone. The Rev. David Hammonds officiated. Survivors include a brother, Benny Muse, Carrollton; sons, Ben and Angela Muse, Acworth, and Kevin and Rhonda Muse, Peachtree City; and grandchildren, Tyler, Jordan, Mason, and Caitlin. McKoon Funeral Home, Newnan, was in charge.
