There has been a change in the commercial landscape in east Coweta County at Fischer Road and Ga. Highway 34. The northwest corner of the Fischer Crossing development is being sold to Bright-Meyers Peachtree City Associates, LLC. Development plans at this point are uncertain.

A February development agreement filed with Coweta County states that Bright-Meyers has the 27-acre parcel on the northwest corner under contract.

The contact person for Bright-Meyers, Alexa Wagaman of Atlanta-based Meyers Brothers Properties, LLC, said she could offer no comment on the development at this time. Fischer Crossing developer Scott Seymour could not be reached for comment.

The smaller northwest corner of the commercial development, originally totaling 145 acres with 800,000 square feet of commercial space, was where a Sam’s Club and other businesses were to be located. The entire development was to span the northeast, northwest and southwest corners of the intersection.
