Lilly Estelle Gilbert Hunter, 80, Daytona Beach, formerly of Senoia, died Feb. 16, 2009. She was born June 13, 1928 in Greenville, Ala., to the late Benjamin and Lena Gilbert. Services were at White Oak Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church, Senoia, with the Rev. Randy Gilbert, and the Rev. Winston Skinner officiating. Interment was at the church cemetery. Survivors include her husband, Richard "R. E. "Hunter, Senoia; a son, Richard Hunter Jr., Chula Vista, Calif.; a daughter, Patrice Halstead, Port Orange, Fla.; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. McKoon Funeral Home, Newnan, was in charge.
