Deana Lee Sikes of Echols County became the bride of Russ L. Stevenson of Fayetteville Sept. 9 in a candlelit ceremony at Mountain Valley Chapel in Pigeon Forge, Tenn., with the Rev. Jerry Lucas officiating.
The bride wore a white, strapless, satin, A-line gown with a design of beaded metallic embroidery, crystals and pearls on the bodice, back and train. A split-back opening flowed into a chapel train. She had an elbow-length pearl and crystal border veil with a rhinestone and crystal tiara. She carried a nosegay bouquet of light pink and hot pink roses with white satin-trimmed organza ribbon. The bride is the daughter of Ray and Debbie Sikes of Valdosta. She is a graduate of Echols County High School and a student at Kennesaw State University. The groom’s parents are Bob and Elaine Stevenson of Fayetteville. He is a graduate of Fayette County High School, Abraham Baldwin College and the University of Georgia. He is owner and landscape architect with SecondNature Landscape of Atlanta and a real estate agent with Mountain Tracks Realty of Blue Ridge. The newlyweds celebrated the evening at Dollywood following the ceremony and now reside in Blue Ridge. login to post comments |
