Green isn't just the color of Spring in Coweta County; it's also the theme of a new arts event sponsored by the Cultural Arts Committee of Senoia's Downtown Development Authority. On Saturday, April 25th from 10 to 6, Historic Downtown Senoia will celebrate Earth Day with a sidewalk art show featuring artists who work with recycled materials.

"The Art of Green" will include open-air booths of artwork made of recycled wood, metal, plastic, paper and cloth. Booths showcasing locally grown produce and other items will also be a part of the event.

Entry forms will also be available at the Office of Downtown Development at 9 Main St. in Senoia. In case of inclement weather, the rain date is Saturday, May 2nd. Admission to the event is free and open to the public.
