Prudential Georgia Realty has posted record sales every year it has been in business. Operating since 1963, that’s 42 record years. The firm’s 2005 stats continue this uninterrupted record. With $2.8 billion in sales, the company experienced double digit growth with a 22 percent increase over 2004 sales.

Since reporting its 2003 home sales of $1.8 billion, Prudential Georgia Realty has increased sales by $1 billion, or 56 percent. For 2005, sales were based on 10,600 closed transactions. This is another first for the company, as it had never surpassed the 10,000 transaction mark before. The average sales price per home was $264,000, a $20,000 increase over the previous year.

“These numbers indicate real estate remains a strong and growing market in metro Atlanta,” said Prudential Georgia Realty President and CEO Dan Forsman. “We have a diverse market in Atlanta and people’s investments in real estate in the form of primary residences, rental properties and land are far outpacing other investment markets.”
