I have found the city of our dreams — Peachtree City

Litter here, litter there, litter everywhere
Litter by the road, litter by the path
Litter everywhere the people pass.

Oh you should see, as the poet says,
“I think I shall never see, a sight as lovely
As a litter strung tree
or a grassy littered knoll.”

Oh the joy of seeing the debris fly from the cars as they pass
Or tossed from a people-laden cart
And even more a bicyclist littering by
As they pass a paper-tossing walker.

And as we take a last look at this place to re-litter too
We remember this line with a fond adieu:
“A litter here, a litter there
Soon there will be litter everywhere.”

Your litter friend
Von Woods
Peachtree City, Ga.
