Dorothy E. Skelton, 85, Peachtree City, died Feb. 1, 2009. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence R. Skelton, whom she married in 1946. He was a retired veteran of the United States Army. Services were at St. Andrew's in-the-Pines Episcopal Church with interment at Westminster Memorial Gardens, Peachtree City.

Survivors include children, Pamela and Don Bagnall, Peachtree City, Laurie and Mike Nelson, Decatur, Jeff and Barbara Skelton, San Francisco, and the Rev. Melissa Skelton, Seattle, Wash.; grandchildren, Raiford Smith, Evelyn Fredericksen, Evan Rundlett, Ashley Wentworth, Rye Skelton, and Samuel Skelton; a great-grandchild, Austin Tollison. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Peachtree City, was in charge.
