The Georgia Heartland Humane Society (GHHS) presents the third annual “Doggie Dash.” Registration begins at 10am, at the Shakerag Park in Peachtree City and the 5K walk will begin at 11:15 am. The walk takes place along the city’s bike pathways and will give you and your “best buddy” a day of fun, exercise, and fresh air, and provide support to help other animals be rescued so they may be given an opportunity to enjoy this quality of life. There will also be a costume contest at the event, with a prize awarded for the best costume. All funds raised from the Doggie Dash will support Georgia Heartland’s continued rescue, rehabilitation and adoption of abused, abandoned and neglected animals.
