Banks are confusing!

Sonnet on Banks

Today was announced four trillion loaned
From the Federal Reserve to our banks
With such huge loans that are condoned
Our congress isn't about to get thanks.

The total so far is maybe six trillions
And just how can they loan oweing so much
To the rest of us who are all civilians?
Frankly I'm tired of lending them a crutch

Next in line for congress to bailout
Are the State budgets, most in a mess
Some mismanaged, and some with drought
Buyers of bonds help them do with no less.

Will it all be blown without resolution
Or will we lose all, our very institution?
