Thomas Moss, Newnan, died Jan. 28, 2009. He was born May 16, 1929. He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Bessie Kate Moss, his wife, Selena Jones Moss, brothers, George Washington, John Andrew, and Henry and Richard Moss, and sisters, Cleola, Willia A. and Mattie Kate. He was a member of Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church where he was a member of the United Methodist Men and served on the Board of Trustees. He had established a weekly Bible Study Ministry at his home which was attended by family and neighbors for three years.

Services were at the Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church with the Rev. Patricia Williams, officiating. Survivors include a son, Lee Andrew Moss; a daughter, Bessie and Gene Williams; grandchildren, Drew, Miasha, Thomas and Joseph; two great-grandchildren; sisters, Elnora Garfield, Agnes and Wilson Williams, Vivian and Cornelius Hill, Emma and Charles Hawkins, and Velma and William Russell; and close friend, Maybell Rosser. Roscoe Jenkins Funeral Home, Newnan, was in charge.
