Clifford Leland Andrews, 80, Newnan, died Jan. 30, 2009. He was born March 13, 1928 to the late Morpheus Newton Andrews and Bessie Mae Andrews Thompson. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and served in World War II. Services were at the McKoon Funeral Home chapel with Pastor Mary Peters officiating. Interment was at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Newnan.

Survivors include his wife, Joyce Payton Andrews, Newnan; sisters, Dell Stitcher, and Sybil Harrison; daughters, Denise Wilkin, and Melissa Scott; sons-in-law, Dale Wilkin, and Christopher Scott; grandchildren, Kristen Luellen-Kee, Kenneth Luellen, Andrew Wilkin, Kathryn Scott, Davy Scott, and Payton Scott; and great-grandchildren, Chase Luellen, and McKenna Grace Kee; all of Newnan. Memorial donations may be given to the Resurrection Lutheran Church, 1250 Lora Smith Rd., Newnan, GA, the First Baptist Church, 15 W. Washington St., Newnan, GA or Crossroads Church, 2564 Sharpsburg McCollum Rd., Newnan, Ga. McKoon Funeral Home, Newnan, was in charge.
