The cottages at Christian City Children’s Home got to make their own wish lists this year. Realtors at Century 21 Scarbrough Properties donated many gifts to the children’s cottages after inquiring about any special needs they may have.

“A lot of times the children’s personal gifts are taken care of early and that is what we donated last year. This Christmas we wanted to contribute things that would benefit all the children and house parents too,” said Sandy Cruder of Century 21 Scarbrough Properties.

Each cottage was asked to provide a list and the list was filled by donations collected from the realtors at Century 21 Scarbrough Properties. Some gifts included: computer software, DVDs, George Foreman grill, a griddle, towels, alarms clocks, sheets, and much more.

“The shopping was easy and fun when you know exactly what everyone wanted,” said Cecilia Taylor at Century 21 Scarbrough Properties.

The gifts were delivered Dec. 13 and shared with the cottages on Christmas Day.
