Doris Christine Outlaw, 83, Peachtree City, died Feb. 1, 2009. She was an avid reader who loved to study history. Prior to her retirement, she served for 26 years as social worker for the City of New York, as a supervisor of adoptions. Services were at the Carl J. Mowell chapel. Survivors include sons, Kim Outlaw, Elizabeth, N. J., and Craig Outlaw, Hampton, Ga.; a daughter, Christine Gibson, Peachtree City; and a granddaughter, Kayla Gibson. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Peachtree City, was in charge.
