Senoia City Council Jaqn. 26 unanimously approved a new job description for the Downtown Development Coordinator position.

The only essential difference in two job descriptions is that the new one more clearly delineates the responsibilities between Historical Preservation duties and Downtown Development duties, said city administrator Richard Ferry.

“What you have is a much clearer guideline,” Ferry said.

The Downtown Development Coordinator interfaces with the Historical Preservation Commission and the Downtown Development Authority.

Also at the meeting, Mayor Robert Belisle announced that Stephanie Savage has been hired as the city’s new Downtown Development Coordinator. She will start the new job next week.
