Sharon Kay Spivey, 52, Fayetteville, died Jan. 19, 2009. She was preceded in death by her father, James E. "Buck" Thomas, and a brother, James Thomas Jr. Memorial services were at Harps Crossing Baptist Church with the Rev. Dennis Watson officiating.

Survivors include her husband, C. David Spivey, Fayetteville; a son, D. "Hunter" Spivey, Fayetteville; a daughter, Kristi and Jeff Dobbs, Newnan; mother, Jessie Mae and Wayman Wallace, Douglasville; brothers, David Thomas, Demorest, and Michael and Debbie Thomas, Villa Rica; brothers and sisters'in-law, Mike and Linda Spivey, Douglasville, and Jim and Sandra Spivey, Mableton; father-in-law, W. C. Spivey, Hampton; and mother-in-law, Frances Spivey, Douglasville. Memorial donations ma be made to Harps Crossing Baptist Church, General Ministry, 1183 Hwy. 92 S., Fayetteville, GA 30215. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, was in charge.
