Landmark Christian School along with the Southern Crescent Symphony Orchestra, and guest soloists present the southeastern premiere of “King David Oratorio.” Music is by Alan Menken (Beauty and the Beast), book and lyrics by Tim Rice (The Lion King and Evita). The work was inspired by the life of Israel’s greatest king to celebrate Jerusalem’s 3,000th anniversary in 1996. Performances: 7:30 pm Friday and Saturday, November 11 and 12, at the Coweta County Centre for the Performing and Visual Arts, 1523 Lower Fayetteville Rd, Newnan.
