Thirteen members of Bethany United Methodist Church in North Fayette County raised money for and walked or volunteered at the 26th annual Wesley Walk for Others.

The walk is 6.2 miles around Stone Mountain.

One walker, Gabe Mavis, was verly likely the youngest walker who actually walked (rather than rode in a stroller) and, at 5 years old, walked five miles.

The group raised over $900 for Wesley Community Ministries.

Wesley’s Walk for Others benefits the Bethlehem Senior Center; Project Extend, a home repair program for lower income elderly people; and Camp Wesley, a week-long Christian Summer camp for lower-income inner-city youth.
