Kim Denmark makes her way into Union City Wednesday as part of her “Walk Across America” to help spur national action on behalf of the homeless and those in poverty. Having walked through 13 states and covering nearly 2,400 miles, Denmark was presented a proclamation on the steps of city hall by Mayor Pro-tem Shirley Jackson, council member Helen Turner and City Administrator Terrell Jacobs.
