Earl Jenkins Dunn, 86, Fayetteville, died Jan. 5, 2009. He was born Oct. 4, 1922, son of the late Fred Hambrick and Tessie Whatley Dunn. He was a longtime member of the Fellowship Sunday School Class at Fayetteville First United Methodist Church. Services were at the Fayetteville First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Mark Westmoreland, the Rev. Bob Partridge, and the Rev. Lowell Hale officiating. Interment was at Camp Memorial Park, Fayetteville.

Survivors include his wife Elizabeth P. Dunn, Fayetteville; a son, Douglas Dunn, Atlanta; a daughter, Anna and Keith James, Fayetteville; grandchildren, Chris James and Kenneth James; sisters, Catherine Moore and Sylvia Byne, both of Fayetteville; and a sister-in-law, Ellouise Dunn, Peachtree City. Memorial contributions may be made to the Fayetteville First United Methodist Church, 175 E. Lanier Ave., Fayetteville, GA 30214. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, was in charge.
