Elizabeth G. Estes, 92, Tyrone, died Jan. 11, 2009. She was born Jan. 18, 1916 in Cuthbert, Ga. She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred W. and Annie Melissa Gay, in 1944 by her husband, Max Doscher, and in 1998 by her husband of 26 years, Chris Estes. Memorial services were at the Parrott Funeral Home chapel.

Survivors include daughters, Mimi Brandt, Fleetwood, N.C., Susanne Morris Highlands, N.C., and Heide Hansen, Smyrna; stepchildren, Charles Kenneth Estes, Atlanta, and Shirley Estes, Williamsburg, Va.; grandchildren, Chris Brandt, Melissa Reickert, Shannon Brandt, Lisa Head, Katrina Hansen, Toliver Morris, and Max Morris; and 13 great-grandchildren. Parrott Funeral Home, Fairburn, was in charge.
