Thomas E. Crissey Sr., 78, Sharpsburg, died Dec. 31, 2008. He was preceded in death by a son, Thomas E. Crissey Jr. He was born Oct. 5, 1930 in Princess Anne, Md. He was a member of the Cornerstone United Methodist Church. He retired as a Senior Chief with the United States Navy after 22 years of service. Graveside services were at Forest Lawn Memorial Park with theRev. Joe Watson officiating.

Survivors include his wife, Charlotte Riley Crissey, Sharpsburg; daughters, Patricia San Miguel, Millville, N. J., Donna McGinnes, Chestertown, Md., and Karen Roman, Vineland, N. J.; stepdaughters, Cynthia Stidham, Millville, N. J., and Stephanie Bass, Sharpsburg; sisters, Gladys Temple, Mound Ridge, Kan., and Elise Brown, Michigan; nine grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. Memorial donations may be made to Southwest Christian Hospice, 7225 Lester Rd., Union City, GA 30296. McKoon Funeral Home, Newnan, was in charge.
