A tree in the seventh-grade courtyard at Booth Middle School has been dedicated in memory of Danen Clarke, who died in a flooded culvert near City Hall in a July rainstorm. Clarke landscaped the area for his Eagle Scout project, and a plaque for the tree bears a quote from Danen: “It’s so simple. Do what’s right.” From left are Booth PTO President Cele Eifert, Danen’s brother, Jonathan, his parents Vicki and Brad Clarke and Booth Assistant Principal Ron Plauche. Photo/Special.
