Dorothy "Dot" Causey Berry, 79, Newnan, died Dec. 18, 2008. She was born Feb. 8, 1929 in Headland, Ala., to the late Oren Marvette and Mabel Morgan Causey. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Newnan. Services were at the McKoon Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Dr. Jimmy Paterson officiating. Interment was at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.

Survivors include her husband of 60 years, James C. Berry, Newnan; daughters, Carolyn and Ris Cowan, Jasper, Ga., and Cindy and Bob Mossey, Norcross; grandchildren, Scott Braden, Salt Lake City, Utah, Greg and Christine Braden, Denver, Artie Cowan, and Daniel Cowan, both of Kennesaw, Mary Elizabeth Mossey, Roswell, and John Mossey, Norcross; a brother, Ray Causey, Atlanta; an sisters, Margaret and Gill Maddox, Acworth, and Ruby Maddox, Milner. McKoon Funeral Home, Newnan, was in charge.
