Ellen Eunice Redmond Rockett, 91, Peachtree City, died Dec. 18, 2008. She was born in Shellhorn, Ala., and grew up in Bessemer, Ala. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rollin Rockett III. She was a member of the Disciples of Christ Church in Bessemer and later in St. Louis. She was an interior designer beginning her career in Birmingham and worked for many years in St. Louis before beginning her own business, Shellhorn Galleries.

Services were at Ft. Michell National Cemetery, Ala. Survivors include a son, Rollin and Judith Rockett IV., Peachtree City; a daughter, Ellen Rockett O'Neill, Peachtree City; grandchildren, Mary Ellen O'Neill Kusnierz, Valley, Calif., Melissa Rockett and Bradley Pickard, Peachtree City, Rolling Rockett and Meranda Rockett V., and Robyn Rockett and Randy Burnett, all of Fayetteville; and 15 great-grandchildren. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Peachtree City, was in charge.
