Lydia West Johnson, Fairburn, Fayette County, died Dec. 19, 2008. She was born April 28, 1918 in Fayette County. She was preceded in death by her parents, Luther and Mattie Abercrombie West, and her husband of 54 years, Charlie F. Johnson. She was retired from Arrow Shirt Company with 32 years of service.

Services were at the Parrott Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Dr. Tom Daugherty officiating. Interment was at the West Family Cemetery, Fayetteville. Survivors include a son, Sheriff Randall and Kay Johnson, Fayette County; grandchildren, Melissa Johnson, Peachtree City, and Beth and Andy Anderson, Senoia; and great-grandchildren, Brady and Sawyer Anderson. Parrott Funeral Home, Fairburn, was in charge.
