Tyrone Police again this year made a difference at Christmas for youngsters and their families. The department raised more than $8,000 and treated 12 children to a shopping spree at Wal-mart and Target in Peachtree City. Kids received $300 each while families received a $200 American Express gift card. Royal Learners in Tyrone also helped with providing clothing needs for families.
