Moonset over Lake Peachtree

Debbie Anderson of Peachtree City reports she was so impressed with the brightness of the full moon that she photographed it around 6 a.m. Dec. 12 as it was setting across Lake Peachtree. She used a Nikon D300 with a Nikkor 85mm/f1.4 lens. Turns out the moon was at its brightest and closest to earth in its full phase since 1993. Photo/Debbie Anderson.
