Lamar Eugene Moore, 59, Griffin, died Nov. 29, 2008. He was preceded in death by his father, Abner L. Moore, and a sister, Eloise Moore Jackson. He was self-employed in the concrete finishing business.

Services were at the Conner-Westbury Funeral Home with the Rev. Gene Walton officiating. Interment was at New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery, Fayetteville. Survivors include his wife, Jane Moore, Griffin; sons, Timothy Moore and Terry Moore, both of Griffin; granddaughters, Kristen Moore, and Elizabeth and Martin Bates; mother, Luella B. Moore, Fayetteville; and a sister, Linda and Buddy Biggers, Fayetteville. Conner-Westbury Funeral Home, Griffin, was in charge.
