Eva Mae Chapman, 72, Brooks, died Dec. 4, 2008. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Chapman, sisters, Katherine Edwards, and Sara Collins, and a brother, Raymond Sagon.

Services were at the Carl J. Mowell chapel with the Rev. Hugh Kirby officiating. Interment was at Westminster Memorial Gardens, Peachtree City. Survivors include sons, Leonard and Brenda Chapman, Brooks, John Leslie Chapman, Destin, Fla., and Jack Lloyd Chapman, Brooks; grandchildren, Melonie Tharpe, Austin Chapmen, Jenna Chapman, and Jacquie Chapman; and brothers, Claude Sagon and Paul Sagon. Memorial donations may be made to the Hazel K. Goddess Fund. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, was in charge.
