Thomas W. Rounds Jr., Fayetteville, died Dec. 7, 2008. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas W. and Mary F. Rounds, a brother, Charles F. Rounds, sister-in-law, Janet Rounds, and a niece, Erin Beth Nugent. He was a graduate of North High School and had served for 13 years in the United States Marine Corps. He worked for 20 years for IBM at various facilities prior to his retirement. He loved to travel, read, and play golf. Funeral arrangements were private.

Survivors include his wife, Donna Rounds, Fayetteville; a son, Thomas W. Rounds III and fiancée, Julie, and their daughter, Nikki, Everett, Wash.; a brother, Gerald P. and Irene Rounds, Warrenton, Va.; and sisters, Mary K. Rounds, Binghamton, N.Y., Patricia and Edward Bendert, Fayetteville, and Suzanne Nugent, Mt. Morris, N.Y. Memorial contributions can be made to a local food bank or the American Heart Association. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, was in charge.
