I am seeking re-election to Tyrone Council Post 3 because I would like to continue to serve the citizens by partnering with them to ensure that their interests and vision for the town are protected.

As my voting record on zonings reflects, I will continue to support balanced growth to help Tyrone keep its small town character and solicit their input in development of the downtown area.

I think that it is important for the downtown area to be a viable place where local business owners can continue to thrive despite commercial growth on Highway 74 and that Shamrock Park should be preserved as a park.

I support continued development of Handley Park for additional baseball fields and development of soccer fields and continued expansion of the cart path system.

I also favor looking at alternative funding sources such as impact fees and will work to keep taxes stable or look at rolling them back while maintaining a quality level of services.

I adamantly feel that Tyrone’s citizens’ voices should be heard by their elected officials and welcome them to call me with any concerns or issues I can address.
