Middle Fayette CoC moves to new locationTue, 12/16/2008 - 3:16pm
By: The Citizen
The Middle Fayette Church of Christ, formed in 2007, has moved into more permanent quarters in downtown Fayetteville. The church met first in the media center of Fayette Middle School on Grady Avenue, then at Spring Hill Elementary School. The latest location is at 372 N. Glynn St. (Ga. Highway 85) and Hood Avenue in the Glynn-Hood Plaza, across from La Hacienda Mexican Restaurant. The location formerly housed The Banquet Hall. The site has been renovated and classrooms and administrative offices have been added. The sanctuary will comfortably seat 120-130 persons. Church members say their goal is to eventually purchase land in the Fayetteville area and construct a permanent church facility. The congregation is led by pulpit minister Russ Vickers and meets for Bible study at 9 a.m. on Sundays and at 6 p.m. on Wednesdays. Worship services in the sanctuary are at 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. on Sundays. A ladies’ Bible class meets at 9 a.m. on Tuesdays. The mailing address is P.O. Box 143510, Fayetteville, GA, 30214 and the church website is at www.mfcoc.org.
