Six complete healing study at Christ the King in Sharpsburg

A course on healing, sanctioned by The Order of St. Luke the Physician (OSL), an interdenominational healing ministry, was completed recently at Christ the King Charismatic Episcopal Church in Sharpsburg.

A goal of the study was to prepare participants from different churches to form a local OSL Chapter. Currently, there are fifteen OSL Chapters in the state of Georgia.

Another goal is to enable the participants to serve as prayer team ministers in their own congregations.

The study consisted of 26 lessons, each focused on a specific instance of healing in the New Testament, and was taught by OSL member Edwina Cowgill of Newnan, a commissioned minister in the International Communion of the Charismatic Episcopal Church and a member of the staff of Redemption Fellowship (Presbyterian Church in America) in Fayetteville.

A second OSL class, open to the public, will be offered in 2009 beginning Feb. 4.

Those interested in attending may contact Cowgill at edwina@redemptionfellowship.org.
