Ensemble Pour Deux is an unusual musical duo made up of only two musicians. Their versatility provides a variety of musical combinations including Harp, Piano, Violin, Viola, and Voice. Because of their flexibility this unique ensemble is just as comfortable performing for your dining pleasure at a local restaurant or local country club gala dinner as they are at an elegant wedding or a bridal show.

Both musicians have extensive musical backgrounds. Barbara Hood is a graduate of Georgia State University with a degree in music education, with a major in violin and a minor in voice. She is a member of the MUSIC EDUCATORS NATIONAL CONVENTION, the GEORGIA MUSIC EDUCATORS ASSOCIATION, and the AMERICAN STRING TEACHERS OF AMERICA/NATIONAL SCHOOL ORCHESTRA ASSOCIATION.

Kaylynn Davis brings to the ensemble a background in harp pedagogy and piano with a music degree from the University of Texas at Austin. As an undergraduate, Mrs. Davis served as a charter member and officer of the AMERICAN HARP SOCIETY in which she maintains current membership. She is also a member of the HARP SOCIETY OF GEORGIA.

Kaylynn and Barbara are both private instructors in their own right with many years of experience. They offer private instruction in piano, harp, violin, viola and voice.

With their impressive backgrounds and love of music, the Ensemble Pour Deux offers a unique blend of ethereal sounds which are sure to enhance weddings, intimate gatherings or those special occasions needing an extra touch of elegance.
