Amanda McBay and Thomas Hall, kindergarten students at Sara Harp Minter Elementary, enjoy the Good News Club held afternoons at Harp’s Crossing Baptist Church. Sponsored by Child Evangelism Fellowship (CEF), the local Good News group is seeking churches to sponsor groups at other schools in Fayette County, as well as volunteers to help lead the children in Bible studies and other activities. Churches or church groups interested in adopting a school will need teams of five to eight people to attend the training and will need to coordinate with Rhonda Bailey, Adopt-a-School Coordinator for CEF, to choose their school.
