Auto loans & Citigroup

I think we extended Citigroup banks about 150,000,000,000 dollars to save their miserable butts!
Why don't they loan the auto companies the 30-40 billion they want?

Aren't they good for it?

At least they should finance the autos these guys are going to make with their loans, shouldn't they?

I'm not just picking on Citigroup, many banks got loans (gifts--more likely).

Just how much money will Citigroup have to make to be able to pay back the $150,000,000,000? The interest per year must be about $15,000,000,000! If Citi had been loaning it to the government it would have credit card interest--maybe 24%!
Is the principle to be writen off? Will the stockholders get their dividends before we get our intrest and principle back?

Something stinks here like limburger (or Limbaugh) does.
