The Starr's Mill High School Department of Choral Music will present their annual Candlelight Processional Thursday, December 4 at 7 p.m. in the Willie Duke auditorium. The musical program will open with a stunning candlelight procession of 160 singers to the 14th century Personet Hodie.   The program will continue with music of the holiday season with singing from the department's six performing groups which include the vocal jazz of An Octave Above, women's choirs Bel Canto and Bella Voce, the a cappella men's group Men of the Mill, men's choir Camerata, and the advanced mixed choir Chanticleer. The program concludes with all of the choirs encircling the audience to the perennial Christmas favorite Silent Night.  The processional will be preceded by the department’s annual silent auction beginning at 6:30 p.m. in the auditorium lobby. All proceeds of the auction go to the choral scholarship fund which aids graduating seniors as they continue their musical endeavors at the college level. The public is invited to attend and there is no admission charge.
