Eleventh Hour to host youth concert
Fresh Fire Youth Ministries will host a youth concert at the Eleventh Hour Call Church Saturday, Dec. 6 at 4 p.m. Scheduled to appear are Ryan Atkins, Oliver Hazzard, A5K and Chris Hawkins. Doughnuts, cookies, hot chocolate and coffee will be served. The church is on Ga. Hwy. 85, on the lower level of the Fayette Mower building. For more information, call 770-714-1365.

St. Paul Lutheran presents ‘Love Came Down’
St. Paul Lutheran Church in Peachtree City will present a free performance of the Christmas musical drama, “Love Came Down,” on Saturday, Dec. 6, at 7 p.m. “Love Came Down” is a play retelling the story of the birth of Jesus through music, narration, time-period costumes and a cast of all ages. Admission is free and tickets are not required. St. Paul Lutheran is at 700 Ardenlee Pkwy. in Peachtree City.

Bethany UMW plans luncheon, party
The United Methodist Women at Bethany United Methodist Church will have a Christmas Luncheon Saturday, Dec. 6, at 11:30 a.m. in the fellowship hall. Tickets are $12 and include the meal and entertainment. The group also will have a Christmas party at Green Manor Restaurant Thursday, Dec. 11, at 11:30 a.m. For more information, call the church office, 770-964-6999.

COS plans musical Christmas program
“The Christmas S.O.C.C.E.R. Team” will be presented Sunday evening, Dec. 7, at 6 p.m. at Christ Our Shepherd Lutheran Church in Peachtree City. Children in the church’s Shepherd’s Flock Singers and Cherub Choir, along with adult characters, will tell the stories of Christmas carols and sing newer Christmas songs, too. Refreshments will be served, with carols by the Christ Our Shepherd Brass. The Youth Ministry will offer a Living Nativity scene on the church lawn before and after the musical. The public is invited, and there is no charge. The church is at the corner of Peachtree Parkway and Ga. Highway 54.

Error
In last week’s photo of two persons participating in St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church bazaar, one was incorrectly identified. Donna “Martin” should actually be identified as Donna “Matthews.” Erroneous information was provided by the submitter.
