Second phase of Hwy. 74 widening still a go

For those negotiating the stop sign at Ga. Highway 74 and Rockaway Road, there is a light at the end of the tunnel. The contract for the widening of Hwy. 74 from Cooper Circle to Ga. Highway 85 to four lanes, including the realigning of Rockway with the traffi c light at Holly Grove Road, is on track to be awarded in March. Construction time is two years. Photo/Special.
