The Rotary Club of Coweta-Fayette celebrates literacy by giving the Souns for Literacy program to the A. Mitchell Powell Jr. Public Library in Newnan. Through this hands-on program, infants and toddlers are introduced informally to letter-sound knowledge. Youth Services librarian, Anna Hollander, and her dedicated team of associates - Lynn Dombrowski, Michelle Freeman, and Valerie Morris - are excited about this literacy gift and have made it a part of the library's on-going fare of children's programs.
