Don Norman Cox Jr., Newnan, formerly of Peachtree City, died Nov. 22, 2008.

He was graduated from the University of Alabama in 1968 with a degree in Finance. Nine years later he moved his family to Peachtree City and opened one of the town's first restaurants, Pac-A-Chic. He was an active member of the McIntosh Community Chorus and in subsequent years in designing and constructing sets for the choir's many productions. He worked locally at Bulldog Supply in Peachtree City for over 25 years.

Memorial services will be held at the home on Dec. 6, 2008 at 10 a.m.

Survivors include his mother, Dorothy Allen Cox; his wife, Sherry Cox; a son, Don Norman "Tripp" and Tracie Cox III; a daughter, Tara Elizabeth and Daniel Luetkemeyer; and grandchildren, Chelsea Rosales-Cox, Perry Cox, Chloe Cox, and Emma Grace Luetkemeyer.

Memorial donations may be given to the National Marfan Foundation.

Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Peachtree City, was in charge.
